The moon is not so blue these days as it tugs at the tides and shifts the collective heart and minds of the voters in Massachusetts. Scott Brown pulls out what will go down as one of the greatest political victories in recent history.
This win could only be topped by the New York Jets winning the Super Bowl. That victory may take some divine intervention, but what happened in Massachusetts did not. It only took the will of the people. That is what makes America the greatest country on the globe.
If the White House, Obama, and the members of Congress are smart, and I am not sure they are, they will reflect on what has occurred here, and realize that the people of this country still hold the power. Often times we the people do not impose this power on our elected representatives, but when we do, it is usually delivered like a freight train. Its shock waves run deep, and rattle the foundations of those in the seats of power.
Will Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, and the other leftwing power brokers feel the beat of this train as it passes through the halls of Government? We shall see. If they don’t hear it now, they will hear it again as it roars and rumbles through Washington D.C. and across the country in November.
If the people of Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states can do the impossible, put a Republican in the seat that Ted Kennedy occupied for over forty years then we the people can do it as well.
The train is in the station.
Its length stretches from the east coast to the west and from the border of Mexico to Canada.
You don’t need a ticket, you just get on board.
They heard the call in Massachusetts.
If you put your ear to the ground, you’ll hear the beating of the sleepers, the rumble and the roar.
If you put your ear to the wind, you hear the Conductor call… All A ‘board!
