You have to hand it to the NY Times and Paul Krugman, to capitalize on the tragedy that took place in Arizona, to further the masked hate speech that spews forth from the left. Mr. K has already concluded that the mentally ill, deranged and troubled man that shot Representative Gabrielle Giffords, and several other people was a right-wing extremist, although a classmate of Jared Loughner, the alleged shooter, describe him as “let-wing” and a “pot-head.”
Yet Mr. K, lumps this troubled and mentally ill man into the Tea Party movement, Sarah Palin, and actually blames Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, and to add insult to insult, he uses Keith Oberman as an example of a reasonable though sometime caustic and mocking voice in the media. Sounds like the shooter isn’t the only left-winger who has been smoking something…
Ironically, Mr. K is doing the very thing that he is criticizing the voices of talk radio of doing, and obviously he hasn’t been listening to Mr. Beck, Mr. Limbaugh, Mrs. Palin, Mr. Hannity, or Mr. O’Reilly since the shootings. I have not heard one of these individuals support the actions of this deranged murderer, or show any reaction other than sorrow, outrage, empathy, and sympathy for the victims and their families.
Mr. K, and the others in the Liberal Media, why don’t you practice what you preach. Of course we all know that the limousine liberals, the Gores, the Streisand’s, and the Bono’s operate in the do as I say and not as I do world. A world where large carbon footprints are bad, unless you have a concert in Sweden and need seven jumbo jets to get you there or you need to attend a “Global Warming Summit” where private jets are only outnumbered by the number of limousines required to get people from the airport to the resort they are staying at.
Mr. K the best way to combat the “toxic rhetoric” is to stop spreading it.
